Callum Thomas

Callum graduated from Plymouth University in 2017 with a First Class Honours in Law.
He went on to study the Legal Practice Course alongside a Masters at the University of Law in Exeter in 2019, taking modules in Advanced Criminal Law and attaining a grade of Distinction for his Professional Research Report.
Between his studies he gained work experience in criminal litigation at a local firm and spent close to a year working on a pro bono project in Plymouth providing legal assistance to refugees.
Having completed his training under the watchful eye of Katrina he now specialises in Criminal Defence. He is Accredited to undertake Police Station representation. He has experience at the Police Station, Magistrates’ Court and Crown Court. He has worked on a wide variety of cases including Rape, Serious Sexual offences including historic matters, Public Offences and large-scale Drug Conspiracies. He has gained experience of dealing with complex Proceeds of Crime matters.
Callum has an approachable manner with clients and can offer advice and representation in the Police Station, Magistrates’ Court and Crown Court. He has experience of working with vulnerable people and has a good understanding of the mental health difficulties faced by many within the Criminal Justice System.
Callum prides himself on his ability to give clear, calm and pragmatic advice. He is highly thought of by both his clients and other professionals.
